studio policies
Effective 4 October 2026 · Version 1.0. How SLIIQQUE scopes, revises, delivers, bills and protects the work, and what it will and will not make.
These Studio Policies explain how SLIIQQUE Studio works day to day. They form part of our Terms & Conditions and apply to every engagement unless your Order says otherwise.
1. Scope and change orders
- Every engagement has a written scope: what we deliver, how many, in what formats, by when and for what price.
- Anything outside that scope, including a new concept, a changed storyboard, new deliverables or a new platform, is a change order. We state the effect on price and timeline, and work on it starts once you approve it in writing.
- A change to an approved concept or storyboard is a change order, not a revision.
2. Briefing and onboarding
- Work starts after the deposit or first retainer payment and a short brief covering the brand, product, audience, platforms, references and deadlines.
- For retainers we agree a monthly content plan at the start of each cycle.
- We do not design logos. Please send your existing logos, brand colours, fonts and product images; we will use them as supplied.
3. Revisions
- Each deliverable, or each batch of deliverables delivered together, includes two revision rounds.
- A revision round is one consolidated set of written feedback on the work as delivered. Please send all comments together.
- Revisions cover corrections and refinements within the approved concept: edits, colour and tone adjustments, cut changes, re-sequencing and fixes to details.
- These are not revisions: a new concept or storyboard, changing the subject, product or talent, new scenes, or re-doing approved work. These are handled as change orders.
- Further revision rounds are charged at ₦15,000 / US$30 per round per deliverable batch.
4. Review windows and approval
- Please give feedback within 5 working days of delivery.
- Work is deemed accepted when you approve it in writing, publish or use it, or give no feedback within 7 days of delivery.
- If feedback is late, timelines move to the next available slot in our schedule.
5. Turnaround and delivery
Our standard timelines, counted from receipt of the deposit and all required materials:
- AI commercial (30–60 seconds): 7 days
- Product photo pack (5 SKUs): 5 working days
- Custom digital human: 7 days
- Brand launch campaign: 21 days
- Retainers: first batch within 7 days of the cycle starting, then in batches agreed in the monthly content plan
Timelines pause while we wait for your materials, feedback or approvals. They may extend if a third-party AI tool or platform is unavailable or changes. We tell you early if a date is at risk. Rush delivery is +50% of the affected fee, where our schedule allows.
6. Retainers
- Retainers are billed monthly in advance and run month to month.
- Either side can end a retainer with 30 days’ written notice, effective at the end of a monthly cycle.
- Each plan lists the monthly allocation (videos, stills and extras). Unused allocation does not carry over unless agreed in writing.
- You can move between plans at the start of a cycle. Upgrades take effect immediately for the new cycle; downgrades need 30 days’ notice.
- If a payment is overdue, we may pause deliveries until it is paid. Paused days are not credited.
- Extra videos, stills and other add-ons are quoted and billed in the same cycle.
7. One-off projects and deposits
- One-off projects are fixed-scope and fixed-price. A 50% deposit starts the work and 50% is due on delivery.
- Deposits are non-refundable: they reserve our schedule and fund the start of production.
- Final files are released after final payment clears.
8. Invoicing and late payment
- We invoice by bank transfer: NGN for Nigerian clients, USD for international clients.
- Invoices are due within 7 days. Retainer invoices are due before the cycle begins.
- You cover bank and transfer fees so that we receive the full invoiced amount.
- Overdue accounts may be paused after 7 days and may carry interest at 1.5% per month or the legal maximum, whichever is lower.
9. Currency, international clients and taxes
- Nigerian clients are priced in NGN. International clients are priced in US dollars (USD), using the USD price list.
- The currency and amount on your accepted quote are fixed for that Order and are not adjusted for exchange-rate movement.
- Prices exclude taxes, duties and withholding. You are responsible for taxes that apply to you.
- We may decline an engagement where doing so would breach law, sanctions or export rules.
10. Add-ons and rush
Add-ons are available on any plan or project, priced in NGN / USD:
- Extra video: ₦40,000 / US$75
- Extra still: ₦5,000 / US$10
- Extra revision round: ₦15,000 / US$30
- Paid-advertising licence for retainer content: +30% of that month’s fee (included on Scale)
- Rush delivery: +50% of the affected fee
11. Cancellation and refunds
- Projects: cancel in writing at any time. You pay for work completed up to the date of cancellation and the deposit is applied to that amount. The deposit itself is not refundable.
- Retainers: 30 days’ written notice. The cycle already begun is not refunded.
- If we cancel or cannot deliver what was agreed, we refund fees for work not performed.
- If you are unhappy with a deliverable, tell us in writing. We will first rework it within the revision and warranty terms before any refund is considered.
- Refunds approved by us are paid within 14 days to the original payment method.
12. Ownership and usage rights
- One-off projects: the final deliverables are assigned to you on full payment, including commercial and paid-media use, worldwide and without time limit.
- Retainers: you receive a perpetual, worldwide licence to use delivered content on your own channels. Paid-advertising use is included on the Scale retainer and available as an add-on on other plans.
- Custom digital humans are exclusive to you and will not be reused for another client.
- We keep our tools, workflows, prompts, identity-lock methods and templates. Source, prompt and working files are not delivered unless the Order says so.
- You keep the rights in everything you supply.
13. AI-generated content and disclosure
- We work with AI tools and human direction, and we do not hide that. We will tell you which parts of a deliverable are AI-generated.
- AI-generated material may be similar to existing works; we take reasonable care to avoid copying protected works, brands and real people, but cannot guarantee uniqueness.
- Copyright protection for AI-generated material varies by country. We transfer or license the rights we hold, without warranty of protectability.
- You are responsible for any AI or synthetic-media labels required by law or by the platform where you publish. We supply suggested disclosure wording on request.
- Outputs are subject to the terms of the AI tools used to create them.
14. Digital humans, likeness and consent
- Our digital humans are synthetic people. They are not presented as real customers, and we do not produce fabricated reviews or testimonials presented as genuine.
- We do not create a likeness of a real person, living or dead, without that person’s (or their estate’s) written consent. Reference photos of a real person are used only with their written consent and only for the agreed project.
- We do not make deepfakes of public figures, or content that could mislead people about what a real person said or did.
- A custom digital human’s identity profile belongs to the client on full payment and can be reused across the client’s own campaigns.
15. Client materials and brand assets
- You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything you give us: logos, product images, music, names, likenesses and text.
- We do not design or alter logos. We use your supplied brand assets as they are, and may remove backgrounds or place them in scenes.
- We may refuse materials that raise legal or safety concerns.
16. Content standards: what we will not make
We decline or stop work that:
- is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory or hateful, or infringes anyone’s rights
- is sexually explicit or exploits or sexualises minors
- impersonates a real person, or spreads political, electoral or health disinformation
- makes unsubstantiated claims about health, medical results, income, investment returns or financial products
- promotes gambling, tobacco or vaping to minors, weapons, counterfeit or illegal goods
- uses fake before-and-after results, fake reviews or fake endorsements
If we stop work for these reasons, you pay for the work done to that point.
17. Age-restricted and regulated content
- Alcohol-related work is accepted only for audiences of legal drinking age, with age-gating on the pages we publish and responsible-drinking messaging where required.
- Pages on our own site that show alcohol-related concept work are age-gated, and you must confirm you are 18 or older to view them.
- Health, supplement, financial and other regulated categories need claims you can substantiate. You are responsible for regulatory approvals and for the rules of the advertising platform you use.
18. Concept and portfolio work
- Some work on our site is self-initiated concept work for fictional brands (for example ÀLÀ, ODÈ and ÀSE). It is labelled as concept work, is not client work, and shows no real sales, audience or results.
- We show client work only with your written permission, which you can give by email and withdraw for future use.
- We do not use client confidential information in our portfolio.
19. Confidentiality and data handling
- We treat what you share as confidential and use it only for your engagement. A mutual NDA is available on request.
- We use third-party AI and cloud tools to produce your work. We avoid uploading sensitive personal data and, where a tool allows, choose settings that keep your material out of public model training.
- Face images of real people are treated as sensitive personal data and used only with consent.
- Our Privacy Policy sets out how we handle personal data and your rights.
20. File delivery, storage and archive
- We deliver through a private download link. Please download and back up your files promptly.
- We keep project files for 12 months after delivery. After that we may archive or delete them, and we do not guarantee that they can be recovered.
- You can ask us to delete your supplied materials at any time after delivery, subject to our legal record-keeping.
21. Warranty and fixes
- For 30 days after delivery we correct, at no charge, anything that does not match the agreed scope, if you tell us in writing within that period.
- This does not cover changes by you or others, use outside the scope, or problems on third-party platforms.
- We do not guarantee commercial results such as sales, reach, engagement or ad approval.
22. Communication and support hours
- We work Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm West Africa Time (WAT), and Saturday by appointment.
- We aim to reply within one working day by email (hello@sliiqque.space) or phone/WhatsApp (+234 704 100 0085).
- Formal notices go by email. Day-to-day messages may use WhatsApp.
23. Complaints and dispute resolution
- Tell us what went wrong, in writing, to hello@sliiqque.space.
- We acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 14 days.
- If we cannot agree, the parties will try mediation, then the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, under Nigerian law, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
24. Changes to these policies
We may update these policies. The version on this page applies to new Orders. Active Orders continue on the version agreed when they began, unless you accept the update in writing or the law requires the change.
